My Pathetic Garden
When we built this house I had big plans for the yard. They included a big beautiful wild rose garden on the south side, lots of room to play, and of course, a fruitful garden. I have never done much gardening, and I had no idea how to go about doing it. I still don't. This spring I planted a ton of seeds to start indoors, and the spring was so weird & long, with snow in April, that I completely killed off an entire batch of seedlings just by leaving them inside for too long. Anyway, once I did get some seedlings to stick around, and transplanted them to the great outdoors, I think I forgot to turn on the garden part of our sprinkling system, and killed them off again. Our water turns on at like 2 in the morning so it was easy to forget about. Well, I am happy to say that the watermelon and one single corn stalk are still going strong. And my Costco tomato plants are freaking rockstars. Look how huge they are! And yesterday I picked my very first ever homegrown tomato! How cute is that? Too cute to eat, I'll tell you that much.

Lol I think this is so funny and brutally honest.
I love it.
I still haven't done a garden yet. If we get into BYU I"m gonna start next year and when we get back from law school, if we got to idaho I'll start my first year back.
It seems like everyone else in the ward has one except for Dru and I.
That cute little tomato is ALMOST as cute as your little Sawyer. Anyway, passing along a message from my dear sweet cousin...
"Okay, ...I am blog-stalking thanks to you, missy!! I thought I'd check out your friend Celeste's blog as I've heard you talk about her a fair amount and I'm quite intrigued by the PB&J cupcakes. Could you just let her know how cool I think she is, in a non-creepy blog-stalking sort of way?!? Her music, her talents - the girl is the whole package! How fun that you have friends like that."
You ARE pretty much the whole package. I brag all the time about your talents and whit on your blog. Love ya, man.
I'm getting super excited to eat one of your gourmet cupcakes!
I love the face that Sawyer is making. Nice. :)
Hey! In response to your comment about my awesome cousin, Jen. She doesn't have a blog (yet) but I'm working on that. I think she wants to. Anyway, her link is on my blog. The Jen and Chris Newbold one. They are so amazing.
